NFL to touch down in Germany with games in Munich and Frankfurt

Munich will stage the first-ever regular-season NFL game in Germany during the 2022 season. Following a competitive application process, the FC Bayern Munich Stadium was selected as the venue for two of the four International Series games to be played in Germany over the next four years. Frankfurt Stadium will also host two games. Russia-Ukraine crisis: Champions League final moved and F1 Russian GP cancelled

Uefa has confirmed that Saint Petersburg has been stripped of hosting the 2022 Champions League final, following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The showpiece fixture on Saturday 28 May will now be held at the 80,000-capacity Stade de France in Saint-Denis, Paris. In a statement European football’s governing body said: “Uefa wishes to express its thanks and appreciation to French Republic President Emmanuel Macron for his personal support and commitment to have European club football’s most prestigious game moved to France at a time of unparalleled crisis. Premier League and EFL confirm 2022-2023 schedule to accommodate World Cup

The English Premier League (EPL) has announced the dates for its 2022-2023 season to accommodate the Fifa World Cup in Qatar which takes place in the middle of the domestic calendar. According to a news release, the EPL confirmed that the 2022-2023 season will start on 6 August 2022 and the final round of matches will be played on 28 May 2023, when all games will kick off simultaneously as usual. One Water Race: a ‘new era’ in endurance racing and climate activation

Dates for the inaugural edition of the One Water Race, a concept that aims to establish the world's toughest endurance event, have been confirmed.  Taking place from 23-25 August 2022 in the Stockholm archipelago in Sweden, the event is described as "a new era within endurance racing and climate activation". DP World will become the new title sponsor of the European Tour group’s main men's golf tour from the start of the 2022 season. The first ever edition of the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix will take place from 6-8 May 2022, F1 officials have confirmed.
