Harlequins vs. Bristol Bears: women’s rugby ‘the game changer’ 

Harlequins will take on Allianz Premiership Women’s Rugby rivals Bristol Bears in ‘The Game Changer’ fixture at The Stoop in Twickenham, London on Saturday 25 May.

Now in its fifth instalment, and a celebration of all things women’s rugby, this year’s landmark fixture follows in a long line of record-breaking games for the women’s team including the Big Game 15 in December last year, with 16,237 fans attending at Twickenham Stadium. 

The day will be fun for all the family, with a variety of matchday activities including mascots, food and beverage concessions, while the North Fan Village is open with games and face painting, and much more. 

Jade Konkel, Harlequins Women’s club captain, said: “It feels great to be returning to The Stoop for this year’s The Game Changer fixture, the team are training hard and cannot wait to feed on the excitement and energy of the crowd. The Game Changer series of games gives us an opportunity to take stock of the progress of the women’s game and celebrate this in front of a great mix of fans, families and people looking for a fantastic day out. This year’s opponents, Bristol Bears, will give the match an extra edge and we can’t wait to put on a great display and hopefully come away with an important win.”
