The ninth edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will take place from 1-29 June 2024, with the West Indies and the United States co-hosting the Twenty20 international cricket tournament. Twenty nations will compete across 55 games for the right to be crowned ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 champions.
USA and Canada go head-to-head in the opening match in Grand Prairie, Texas on 1 June. The final on 29 June will be held in Bridgetown, Barbados. England are the defending champions after winning the 2022 event held in Australia.
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup starts with a round-robin group stage, four groups of five teams, with the top two teams in each group advancing to the Super Eight stage. In this stage, the qualifying teams will be split into two groups of four. The top two teams from each group will then qualify for the knockout stage – two semi-finals and a final.
