Men’s golf major: The 152nd Open Championship 2024

The 152nd Open Championship will be held at Royal Troon Golf Club in South Ayrshire, Scotland, from 18-21 July 2024. The fourth and final men’s golf major championship of the 2024 season will see the winner crowned as the Champion Golfer of the Year and lift the famous Claret Jug.
Founded in 1878, Royal Troon first hosted The Open Championship in 1923 – and 2024 will be the 10th time it’s held the event. Troon most recently staged the Championship in 2016, when Henrik Stenson was victorious following a stunning duel with Phil Mickelson.
