PDC World Darts Championship 2023-2024

The PDC World Darts Championship, the biggest event in darts, will be held at Alexandra Palace in London, England. Starting on Friday 15 December 2023, the event will conclude with the final on Wednesday 3 January 2024.

Ninety-six of the world’s best darts players will battle it out for the sport’s most prestigious title. The schedule of play for the opening two rounds have been confirmed and reigning world champion Michael Smith will begin his World Darts Championship title defence on the opening night of the tournament on 15 December. In 2023, Smith was crowned world champion after a dramatic 7-4 victory over Michael van Gerwen.

The pre-Christmas period in the sport’s flagship event will see the first and second rounds played across nine days, with the second round concluding across two sessions on Saturday 23 December. Following a three-day Christmas break, the third and fourth rounds will be held from 27-30 December, with the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final taking place from 1-3 January.
