Festival of Sport: tickets now on sale for 2025 event

Tickets are now on general sale for the Festival of Sport 2025 which will take place at Packington Estate in Warwickshire, England from 1-4 August 2025.

Co-founded by England international rugby stars Will Greenwood and Austin Healey, the Festival of Sport offers children the opportunity to try dozens of sports in a single weekend, to learn from the best and primarily to enjoy all of the benefits of sports participation with family and friends, old and new.

Sporting legends over the weekend include Olympians, Paralympians, world record-holders and international capped stars. They actively participate throughout the weekend, coaching and playing alongside youngsters – and making time to have fun with accompanying adults too.

The 2025 event kicks off at a new venue with arrivals on Friday afternoon setting up camp at Packington Estate, near Birmingham and lasts right through to Monday morning. Accommodation options range from DIY camping to ready-pitched fully-furnished bell tents and airstream trailers.

Saturday and Sunday are packed with a full A-Z of sports in 12 timetabled sessions for every child aged 5-17, from athletics to Zumba via rugby, hockey, rowing, skateboarding and more, all included in the price. Pre-schoolers (who go free) can also join in with age-appropriate versions of a variety of sports and activities.

Parents won’t just be spectating though – there’s plenty on offer for them too including HIIT classes, boot camp fitness, yoga and pilates, sports massage and talks. Plus, when the sports sessions have finished for the day, it’s time to party with live bands, DJs, open-air cinema and circus performers, as well as a range of eating and drinking options in the Food Village.

Packington Estate, between Birmingham and Coventry, is the ancestral home of the Earl of Aylesford. The 17th century hall is surrounded by 300 acres of park and woodland, including a remnant of the original Forest of Arden and gardens designed by Capability Brown. Easily accessible from the M42, M6 and M40, it’s just two hours’ drive from London.

The private estate rarely opens to the public so this is a great opportunity to do something special, in a unique location, with family and friends. The campsites are just five minutes’ walk from all the action in the main arena, and there’s plenty of space for activities on dry land and on the water, running around and relaxing.

Sporting legends confirmed for 2025 include:

  • Rugby: Ben Youngs, Geordan Murphy, Will Greenwood, Austin Healey, Alex Goode, Sydney Gregson, Rachael Burford
