The second edition of the Outside Summit, part of the larger Outside Festival, will feature a line-up of high-profile speakers for the event taking place in Denver, Colorado, from Thursday 29 May to Sunday 1 June 2025.
Bringing together key stakeholders, career veterans, and emerging talents, the multi-day Outside Summit includes some of biggest names in the outdoor industry with speaker sessions from the likes of Reed Hastings (co-founder of Netflix and CEO of Powder Mountain), Caroline Brown (global brand president of The North Face), Albert Lin (National Geographic explorer and TV host), and Alyssa Ravasio (founder of Hipcamp).
Robin Thurston, founder and CEO of event organisers Outside Interactive Inc, said: “The summit is an embodiment of our mission at Outside, and serves the larger vision behind the Outside Festival. Last year’s inaugural summit brought together changemakers from across the outdoor industry to spark important conversations about the future of our businesses. Our 2025 speaker line-up will continue building on last year’s success with an inspiring group of individuals who will empower more people to enjoy, discover, and protect the outdoors. I’m eager to hear their valuable insights.”
The 2024 Outside Summit saw 35 speakers, 27 panel discussions, and a sold-out audience of more than 500 attendees. In 2025, the programme will expand to a dedicated campus adjacent to Denver’s Civic Center Park with sessions at the Denver Art Museum and newly-renovated spaces within the Denver Public Library. Themes for this year’s summit will focus on entrepreneurship, storytelling, access, and sustainability, and will include a pitch competition for industry start-ups, plus networking activities and gatherings.
