Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 England

The Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 will take place in eight cities across England from 22 August to 27 September. Record ticket sales has ensured that it will be the largest sports event in the UK in 2025 and also the biggest Women’s Rugby World Cup in history.

We can’t wait to welcome the world to England next year to celebrate the pinnacle of women’s rugby in front of unprecedented crowds and create unforgettable memories together.”

Pools 

Hosts England have been drawn against Australia, USA, and Samoa in Pool A. Pool B sees Canada face Scotland, Wales and Fiji. Reigning champions New Zealand are joined by Ireland, Japan and Spain in Pool C. In Pool D, France are drawn alongside Italy, South Africa and Brazil.

Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 fixtures

The Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 will kick-off with hosts England facing USA in the opening match at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light on 22 August, 2025. The match schedule has been designed with teams and fans’ interests at heart, creating exciting matchups across the eight host locations. 

All matches are organised over six weekends with the majority having afternoon kick-off times to boost fan and family attendance across England. Teams will have a minimum of six rest days between pool matches to optimise player welfare and team performance.

The quarter-finals will be played at Sandy Park in Exeter and at Ashton Gate in Bristol, with both semi-finals at Ashton Gate. The final will be held at Twickenham on 27 September.
