Premier League Summer Series 2025 to be held in New Jersey, Chicago and Atlanta

Four top-flight English football clubs – AFC Bournemouth, Everton, Manchester United and West Ham United – will travel to the United States for this year’s Premier League Summer Series.

Taking place from 26 July to 3 August 2025, the Premier League Summer Series will see each team play a total of three matches across stadiums in New Jersey, Chicago and Atlanta.

The fixtures kick off on Saturday 26 July at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, with Everton taking on Bournemouth and Man Utd facing West Ham. On Wednesday 30 July, Soldier Field in Chicago will host West Ham vs. Everton and Man Utd vs. Bournemouth. The final round of games on Sunday 3 August will then see Bournemouth vs. West Ham and Man Utd vs. Everton at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Fans only need to buy one ticket to watch the double-headers.

The Premier League’s inaugural Summer Series in July 2023 marked a historic milestone, as the league hosted a pre-season tournament on US soil for the first time. Atlanta saw a crowd of more than 70,000 fans for the clashes between Newcastle United and Chelsea and also Brentford against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Premier League chief executive Richard Masters said: “We are delighted to be bringing the Premier League Summer Series back to the United States and world-class venues in New Jersey, Chicago and Atlanta. We know from our previous tournament and Premier League Mornings Live Fan Fest events that we and our clubs have incredibly loyal and passionate fans in the US who get up early to follow their teams during the season. In these four clubs we have world-class players and managers who will undoubtedly give supporters a fantastic Premier League experience just before the season starts.”

The Premier League Summer Series adds to the football fever in the US, which will also host the FIFA Club World Cup this summer and the US will co-host the FIFA World Cup 2026 with Canada and Mexico.

William Pate, president and CEO of Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau, said: “We are thrilled Premier League will return to Atlanta for a doubleheader this summer at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. These events further showcase Atlanta’s global recognition as a soccer city prepared to host large matches like these as well as FIFA Club World Cup in June and FIFA World Cup 2026.”
