Event guide: Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games
The Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games take place from 4-20 February. There will be approximately 90 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) participating and around 2,900 athletes are expected to compete. The full schedule can be found at beijing2022.cn
Following the Winter Olympics, Beijing will then host the 2022 Winter Paralympics from 4-13 March 2022.
Sports at Beijing 2022
There will be 109 events at Beijing 2022 with seven new events making their Olympic debuts: Women’s Monobob in Bobsleigh, a Mixed Team Relay in Short Track, Men’s and Women’s Freeski Big Air events and Mixed Team Aerials in Freestyle Skiing, a Mixed Team event in Ski Jumping and a Mixed Team Snowboard Cross in Snowboard.
