‘Rumble in the Jungle Rematch’ experience to launch in London in September

Boxing fans in the UK will get the chance to relive an all-time classic fight when Rematch’s second immersive experience, Rumble in the Jungle Rematch, launches in London in September 2023. Fusing theatre, sport and technology, the event will see guests step back in time to 1974 to see legendary boxers Muhammad Ali and George Foreman go head-to-head in Zaire. Usyk vs. Joshua rematch confirmed for 20 August in Saudi Arabia  

Oleksandr Usyk will defend his IBF, WBA, WBO and IBO world heavyweight titles against Anthony Joshua in Saudi Arabia on Saturday 20 August 2022. Billed as the “Rage on the Red Sea”, the rematch will be held in the coastal city of Jeddah.  In their first clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London in September 2021, Ukrainian pound-for-pound star Usyk claimed the belts after winning by a unanimous decision against British fighter Joshua.  Prince Khalid bin Abdulaziz, chairman of Saudi Arabia’s sports and entertainment agency Skill Challenge Entertainment (SCEE), said it was a “proud moment” for the kingdom to be hosting the huge rematch. London’s Wembley Stadium will host the heavyweight world title fight between WBC champion Tyson Fury and challenger Dillian Whyte.  The all-British bout, on Saturday 23 April, will be promoted by Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions and Top Rank. Promoter Frank Warren has confirmed that the all-British heavyweight boxing bout between Daniel Dubois and Joe Joyce will now take place on Saturday 11 July at The O2 in London.  The original fight had been scheduled for April at The O2, but was postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic. British boxing star Anthony Joshua has confirmed a homecoming fight at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London against Kubrat Pulev on Saturday 20 June.
