SEICon 2024 Las Vegas

The inaugural edition of SEICon – a first-of-its-kind sports, entertainment and innovation conference – will be held at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas from 15-17 July 2024. Organised by UNLV Sports Innovation and Syracuse University’s David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics, in collaboration with Las Vegas-based guest experience agency Circle, SEICon 2024 will include exhibitor pods, innovation labs, daily keynotes, seminars/sessions, roundtables, and daily wrap parties with music entertainment.  Attendees will have opportunities to meet industry executives and explore the latest innovations in sports and entertainment, esports and gaming, sports sociology and diversity, broadcast brands and media, research and development, and more. Formula 1 returns to Las Vegas in November for its much-anticipated Saturday night street race. And in what could be the ultimate F1 bucket list item, six fans could be set to have the best race weekend ever – providing they can rustle up a cool $1m between them. 2022 NFL Draft: Las Vegas confirmed as host city  

Las Vegas may have missed out on hosting the 2020 NFL Draft due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but the Nevada city has been awarded the event in 2022.  Confirming the news NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said: “I’m pleased to announce that Las Vegas will host the 2022 NFL Draft, where we look forward to holding an even bigger and better event.” Steve Hill, CEO and president of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), added: “We’re thrilled the NFL has given us the opportunity to host the Draft in Las Vegas in 2022.
