American football returns to London in October with three regular-season NFL fixtures being held in the English capital. And to mark the 2023 London Games, a one-day fan event will take place at Battersea Power Station on Saturday 7 October, from 10am to 6pm. The free-to-attend “NFL Experience London” will feature a Quarterback Challenge, Broad Jump and Vertical Jump, Wide Receiver, and Field Goal Kick activities.  Merchandise and vintage memorabilia from all 32 NFL teams will be available to buy, plus a New Era cap personalisation station and vending machine, with a Fanatics container shop that will dispense NFL products. Formula 1 and Tottenham Hotspur have announced the official name of their new immersive karting experience: F1 Drive - London. Part of a long-term partnership between F1 and the English Premier League football club, F1 Drive will be the world’s first in-stadium electric karting facility and London’s longest indoor karting track. Lee Valley Ice Centre – a new world-class sports venue in Leyton, east London – has opened its doors to the public. 2023 NFL International Games: teams confirmed for London and Frankfurt

The National Football League has announced the teams, dates and locations for the five International Games to be played in London, UK, and Frankfurt, Germany. The Jacksonville Jaguars will kick off the 2023 NFL International Games on Sunday 1 October against the Atlanta Falcons at Wembley Stadium, in what will be their landmark tenth regular season home game in London. The London focus then shifts to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as the Buffalo Bills take on the Jaguars on Sunday 8 October. Cardinals to play Cubs in 2023 Major League Baseball London Series

Major League Baseball (MLB) will return to London in 2023 with St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs facing off for a two-game series in the UK’s capital city. Taking place at the baseball-configured London Stadium, the games will be held on 24 and 25 June.  In 2019 MLB held its first regular-season games in Europe with the Yankees playing the Red Sox at London Stadium. The Cardinals and Cubs were due to play in London in 2020, but the series was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.  The 2023 London Series is part of the MLB World Tour, which will also see regular-season and exhibition games played in Asia, Mexico, Latin America and Europe through to the 2026 season. Major League Baseball’s Home Run Derby X will be held in London’s Crystal Palace Park on Saturday 9 July 2022. The competition will feature four historic franchises: the Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs. According to the MLB, each team will include a former player (Legend), a softball or women's baseball star (Superstar), a player from that region's local development system (Rookie), and an influential content creator (Wild Card).  A full day festival experience, the event will feature interactive baseball-inspired activities, ballpark food, fashion and gaming alongside four Home Run Derby X games. Major League Baseball hits a home run for London’s sports tourism portfolio

London’s position as a leading international sports city has been strengthened after a new long-term partnership was agreed with Major League Baseball (MLB). It has been confirmed that regular-season MLB matches will return to the UK capital in 2023, 2024 and 2026.  The first MLB London Series match to be played in the UK was in 2019 when the Boston Red Sox took on the New York Yankees in two games at the London Stadium. More than 60,000 fans were in attendance in both games.  As well as the upcoming regular-season matches, London’s Crystal Palace Park will also host the MLB Home Run Derby X on 9 July 2022.
