British No.1 men’s tennis player Cameron Norrie has been confirmed on the line-up for the 2024 Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic, taking place from 25-29 June at The Hurlingham Club in Fulham, west London. Norrie will be joined in the grass-court tournament by a number of ATP stars, including world No.5 Alexander Zverev, world No.12 Holger Rune, world No.17 Karen Khachanov, and world No.21 Frances Tiafoe.
Held ahead of the Wimbledon grand slam, the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic is returning to The Hurlingham Club for its 30th edition this year, with Italian luxury fashion house Giorgio Armani as its title partner for the third year in a row. The Tennis Classic offers exclusive and intimate access to one of the country’s most renowned members’ clubs, combining timeless elegance with quintessentially British traditions and heritage.
For three decades, tennis legends have graced the green courts of The Hurlingham Club, including grand slam champions Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Pete Sampras and Goran Ivanisevic. Across the event’s 30 years, previous players share more than 250 grand slam titles combined and boast more than 1,500 weeks as world No.1 between them, positioning the Tennis Classic as one of the year’s top exhibition events.
A very limited number of tickets are now on sale for the public to attend on Saturday 29 June, starting at £198. Attendees will have exclusive access to the pristine grounds of The Hurlingham Club, two ATP singles matches featuring four top ranked players and a legends doubles match. Guests will also be treated to complimentary Whispering Angel rosé and other wines, cocktails, beers, and soft drinks from the comfort of a reserved grandstand seat.
Also celebrating his 30th year at the event is Iranian-born Frenchman Mansour Bahrami, known as one of the most entertaining players on today’s legends’ doubles scene. Best known for his trick shots and on-court entertainment, even tennis icon Roger Federer says watching Bahrami play and perform is a “must see”.
Alongside the legends and ATP top talent, the returning Junior Invitational is building on the success of previous years, now expanding the field to 12 of the top juniors in the world. Players confirmed who will be looking to get some competitive grass court matches play ahead of the Wimbledon Juniors include, world No.2 Laura Samson, world No.3 Emerson Jones, world No.8 Tyra Grant, Britain’s rising star Mika Stojsavljevic, as well as Wakana Sonobe, Hayden Jones, Reda Bennani, Mark Ceban, Jagger Leach and Max Schoenhaus.
Tennis legend and fan favourite Bahrami, who has played in every edition of the event, said: “It is always a privilege to play at the beautiful grounds of The Hurlingham Club. I am looking forward to making my 30th appearance at the lovely Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic and hope the audience enjoys the matches as much as we love playing in them.”
Nikhil Waugh, tournament director, said: “It is an incredible feat to be celebrating our 30th year at the illustrious Hurlingham Club. It’s been an unbelievable journey, combining world-class tennis with the pinnacle of luxury, and we’re honoured to continue this tradition of excellence.”
