Action Outdoors has launched its new 2019-20 winter sports program – with ski and snowboard holidays now listed online and available to book from 5 August.
The not-for-profit UCPA centres, located in some of the best French ski resorts in the Alps, offer hundreds of different trips for all levels of skiers and snowboarders on an all-inclusive basis, with full-board accommodation and equipment hire, lift passes and instruction available on the majority of dates.
There are several new launches for the 2019-20 winter season, including:
- Ski or snowboard ‘basics’ (combine free time skiing with both instruction and guided sessions, intermediates and upwards only)
- Ski off-piste Grands Montets (a dedicated week of exploring the vast off-piste terrain above Argentiere)
- Short break four-day Vallee Blanche (get to experience the famous Vallee Blanche in Chamonix without taking a whole week out).
The first holidays of the winter season start on 28 November 2019, with a short break trip to Val Thorens or Les Deux Alpes from £277 per person, including three nights full-board accommodation, lift pass, ski or snowboard equipment hire (instruction not available).
Full week holidays commence on 30 November to UCPA Val d’Isère that cater for all levels including instruction or non-instructed options, starting at £616 per person with instruction, lift pass, equipment hire and full-board accommodation.
The final departure date is 30 April 2020 with a short break trip to Val Thorens.
Other resorts that are featured during the season include: Chamonix, Flaine, La Plagne, Les Arcs, Serre Chevalier, Tignes and Les Contamines.
As well as Alpine skiing and snowboard instruction, UCPA are also offering a huge variety of specialist courses for the 2019-20 winter targeted at all ability levels that include: ski touring, freestyle skiing camps, cross country skiing, speed riding, competition skiing and splitboarding.
